Once upon a time, I owned an adorable Hubba Tubba KittyCatS who I named Thor - because he was a "rainbow" kitty, and it seemed appropriate to me (Bifrost, the rainbow bridge....) You can see him in my cover photo. He's the big one behind the K-I-T blocks.
I sold him, because I really needed to for the sake of my RL cat, who had to have expensive surgery (Perineal Urethrostomy), and will forever be on an expensive Rx diet.
Gambit was worth everything I did to make sure he got the surgery he needed, and I don't really regret that I gave up Thor, a pixel cat, for Gambit, my RL kitty. But I do sometimes miss Thor. I just would have missed Gambit more, if he'd gone over the Rainbow Bridge.
