Dirty Rat - Wastotem
Said to mark the edge of what once was,
though some claim it’s just where someone died, loud and unwilling.
A dead tree stump, wrapped in torn cloth and silence.
Around it: a rusted flag, a shredded tire, and an old combat helmet, still bearing the dents.
No one knows who built it. No one touches it.
It’s not a grave. It’s a warning.
Whatever left it behind… never really left.
